Dr. Dow joins Drs. Feldman and Leavitt after spending the last 15 years practicing in the U.S. He grew up in Hines Creek, Alberta, where he was raised on a farm and worked in logging.
He earned a biology degree from Central Washington University, then went on to medical school in Ohio, graduating from what is now Kent State University. After that, he completed a three-year surgical residency in Portland, Oregon, and served as chief resident in his final year.
Even with his strong surgical background, Dr. Dow always looks for conservative treatment options first.
Outside of work, Dr. Dow and his wife Elizabeth love to travel and spend time in the mountains whenever they can. They have four grown children and are enjoying this stage of life together.

Dr. Feldman is an established doctor of podiatric medicine and surgery and has served in the Calgary Health Region for over twenty five years. While he is recognized for his expertise in all aspects and conditions of the lower extremities, he specializes in corrective foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Feldman is a member of the Department of Surgery, Division of Podiatry at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Feldman is board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Feldman currently performs surgery at the Rockyview Surgical Centre, Holy Cross Hospital and the Riverview Surgical Centre.
Dr. Feldman grew up in Toronto here he attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science. He attended medical school in Chicago and finished his surgical residency in St. Louis. In 1993 Dr. Feldman moved to Calgary for the mountains and active lifestyle and it has been his home ever since. With over 20 year of practicing as a member of Alberta Health Services, Dr. Feldman has provided foot care and surgical care for thousands of Canadians from P.E.I to British Columbia.
All foot ailments are treated at Feldman & Leavitt Foot & Ankle Specialists however Dr. Feldman specializes in surgical corrections of the foot and ankle with an emphasis on bunion and forefoot corrections.
Dr. Darren Leavitt, DPM FACPM
Dr. Darren Leavitt is a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon specializing in the treatment of all aspects of foot and ankle disorders. He is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and also the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry and a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine.
He has been at the forefront of adopting the latest techniques and technology available for correction of deformities and improvement of function. Having comprehensive knowledge and experience in the decades of time tested podiatric procedures, he continues to further refine and modify these techniques to achieve enhanced outcomes for his patients with shorter recovery times, minimal to no pain and aesthetic appearance.
Dr. Leavitt attended the University of Alberta were he completed his Bachelor's degree. He pursued his podiatric medical education at the Western University of Health Science's (WesternU) College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, California. While there he received numerous merit based grants and awards. Dr. Leavitt spent his 4th year of podiatric medical education rotating through hospitals in the Los Angeles area, Portland, Cleveland, and Central Texas where he completed his clinical rotations. After receiving his degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from WesternU, he applied and was accepted to his top choice surgical residency program in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Legacy Health/Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon, one of the nations most prestigious foot and ankle residency programs. While in Portland he completed almost 1,200 surgical procedures including Charcot reconstruction, ankle trauma, ankle arthroscopy, and total ankle replacements. Also, during his training he completed rotations in general surgery, vascular surgery, internal medicine, radiology, pathology, infectious disease, pediatric orthopedics, orthopedic oncology, and emergency medicine.
Dr. Leavitt has complete courses in Advanced Taylor Spatial Frame Reconstructive Techniques and Limb Deformity Correction at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, in Maryland, MD.
He currently maintains privileges at Riverview Surgical Centre in Calgary, an Alberta Health Services certified outpatient facility where he performs his private elective procedures.

A dedicated mother of three, she balances her family life with her passion for continuous learning and personal growth. In her free time, Christine pursues her interests in the horse discipline of dressage, swimming, paddleboarding, and enjoying serene walks along the beach. Her diverse interests and commitment to excellence make her a well-rounded individual in both her professional and personal endeavors.
Tania
Tania received her BSBA-Major in Marketing from the DLSU-Dasmarinas in Philippines in 1997. She worked at a hospital as a purchasing officer and also worked retail.
In 2000, she moved to Canada and worked as a live-in caregiver to a wonderful family. In 2003 Tania got her Permanent Resident Visa and was given the opportunity to work as a Podiatrist Assistant.
Tania has been working with Dr. Feldman for more than 15 years and still loves her job. Her work as a podiatry assistant has helped her growth and understanding about the feet and that they are not just a part of the body but the most important part as they take us from one place to another. Feet can tell a lot about a person; their lifestyles, their health and their body condition.
Tania specializes in laser therapy.
Tania is married with 2 young sons and enjoys gardening, traveling and dancing.

Christine has been Dr. Leavitt’s assistant since December 2016. Prior to this she enjoyed her time as a stay-at-home mom, raising her 4 boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her boys in their various sports and activities, and spending time outdoors, going for hikes and walks.
Christine finds this job very fulfilling as she really enjoys interacting with people and loves being a part of improving each patient’s quality of life.
